Easdon, Dartmoor

Well, it is a while since I climbed Easdon, but how appalling the bracken has become on its northern and eastern slopes. Many of the old paths are completely deluged by the stuff. It needs dealing with because its rhizomes damage Easdon’s precious archaeology. I’ll give you my thoughts on this walk in my next post. Despite the bracken problems Easdon is well worth walking. One of the finest all round viewpoints on Dartmoor.
