Councillors Determined to sell the Quantock Hills

Many of you may have heard the worrying rumours of the sales of the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (www.quantockhills.com/). Ramblers members today attended the council meeting on the sales and were shocked to discover that, despite strong opposition, the Council wish to go ahead with the sales. We are horrified and opposed to the idea that this wonderful area could be sold off, with walkers and other users losing the ability to enjoy its wilderness and tranquillity.
