Rambling in South Devon

November 4, 2011

If you live in or are visiting South Devon, then why not seek out the programme of theTeignmouth and Dawlish group of the Ramblers.

This friendly group has now been organising walks all over Devon for nearly 25 years.

They have two walks most Sundays, evening walks in the summer months, a wide range of social events, and arrange trips and holidays.

Membership is free to members of the Ramblers Association, visitors from further afield are very welcome, and you can try two or three walks before deciding whether to join.

Recently, the group devised the Teignmouth and Dawlish Way, an eighteen-mile route between the two towns. You can buy the official guide from local Tourist Information Centres or via the group’s website.

The group’s current walks programme is on their website:

A very friendly welcome awaits ramblers and newcomers to the world of rambling.
