Walking in Sheringham Park

    Those mauve ones are beautiful. I love the range of colours you get with rhodies – and the profusion of flowers per bush. Have you been to the Pass of Aberglaslyn in Snowdonia – that’s a famous spot for rhodies but they’re all more or less the same colour – that purply-pink you get…

    I remember it from youth. Spent many a Dartmoor day removing rhodies as was the fashion then.
