Ghostly Legends of Dartmoor

Ghostly Legends of Dartmoor by K. R. WalpoleDartmoorLegendsCover

My old walking friend Ken Walpole has produced an absolutely splendid book on the legends of Dartmoor.

Ghostly Legends of Dartmoor has all the old favourites – Jay’s Grave, Childe’s Tomb, the Devil visiting Widecombe Church – plus several I haven’t encountered before. All beautifully related, and with great enthusiasm, by the author.

Ken has provided a map with each legend, so that you can visit the location of each tale, a very welcome addition as you could plan a longer walk around them.

There are some very good photographs and illustrations.

Ken’s book makes great reading – just the publication for these darkening evenings.

Buy one today:

Just send a cheque (made payable to K. R. Walpole) for £5.15 to Ken Walpole, 34 Meadow Rise, Dawlish, Devon.
